Langtang and Gosaikunda with Helambu trek is a perfect blend to wallow yourself into the eccentric cultures, glistening mountains, and flabbergasting lakes alongside the natural backdrop.
Langtang valley is amazing with its authentic culture and beautiful landscape. Tamangs, who are the native inhabitants of this region, have their distinct traditions, festivals and belief systems offering you a perfectly isolated setting throughout the trek. Despite being close to the capital adorned with modern sophistication, they have strictly adhered to their ancient lifestyle for centuries. In addition to this, this valley has a wonderful landscape. The hills appear green almost throughout the year and plateaus above it offer incredible sight into the snowy peaks.
As you come up to the Gosaikunda, the view is no less dramatic. The pristine surface of the lakes (above 100) reflects the clear blue yonder at the center while snowy cliffs at the edges giving it an exceptionally incredible outlook. For about 6 months, the water in the lake remains frozen and during the other half, the melted ice nourishes the wonderful Trishuli tributaries. This site is also designated as the dwelling place of Hindu deities Shiva and Gauri (Shiva’s first wife) according to Hindu mythology.
Later, you will taste the sweet apples of Helambu and ramble around the villages nearby to experience a new environment. The hospitable nature of the Himalayan settlers in this village is worth experiencing. Also, do not forget to explore the Buddhist Monasteries around this region of Nepal. There are plenty of them.

Santa - Outstanding guide, unforgetable trek. Will be recommend to others!
April 2022 • Couples We went on the 8 day Langtang Valley, Gosaikunda, and Hemlau Trek with Santa. We have trekked all over the world and Santa was by far our best ever guide, he was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgable about all things, Nepal, mountains and Langtang. It didn't feel like 8 days and we had an absolutely amazing time. I will definitely be back in Nepal to trek again with Santa. He also really helped us on the final day to reach the summit with his positive attitude, I'm not sure we would have made it up without him. Thank you so much Santa. Apr 2022 • Couples

The most memorable trekking in our life.
Jaz G The trip of a lifetime! I would recommend Santa to absolutely anyone. Apr 2023 • Couples I feel absolutely honoured to have experienced the 8-day Langtang Valley trek with Santa. He is the most kind, helpful and knowledgable guide I have ever had, and I have hiked in countries all over the world! He is always willing to go the extra mile to make your experience better. This was my first multi-day hike, and Santa enabled my partner and I to climb the Tsergo Ri summit (4984m high). I am so proud of myself for achieving this, and it is all down to Santa. His organisational skills are excellent and he always made sure we stayed in the nicest rooms possible, ensuring we had a beautiful view and ensuite wherever possible. He is almost fluent in English and knew all the best spots to eat. He seems to know all the locals wherever we went and is clearly very well regarded in the trekking world. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. It became so obvious to us why so many of his clients are repeat customers, who wish to explore Nepal with Santa time and time again. Amazing Nepal, A great guide!!!
Amazing Nepal, A great guide Oct 2018 I went to Nepal as a black, female, solo traveller in Oct 2017 and Santa was my guide for the Annapurna circuit. I contacted some of the frequent posters on these boards and others and Santa’s name came up a few times. Still, it felt like a leap of faith to book a 3 week trip with someone I’d never met before! I needn’t have worried, I had an amazing time (Nepal really is beautiful) and Santa is so experienced I felt that I was in very safe hands. I found him to be kind, patient and good company without being intrusively so. I met plenty of travellers who had decide to do the Annapurna Circuit without a guide. I was glad for Santa’s expertise and thought that that this was well worth the expense.
