Our Terms and Conditions comprise several important information regarding the trekking and tour services offered by Friendly Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd. For your information, Friendly Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd. shall be referred to as “us”, “we”, “our” or “The Company” from this moment onward. Moreover, our clients are hereby informed that our Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the client must read & understand our Terms and Conditions appropriately &formerly before buying or procuring any of our available trips/services.
All the bookings made with Friendly Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd. requires our customers to deposit a 20% advance payment for their selected trip package. Immediately after receiving the consented online booking form along with the advance deposit payment for the particular trip package, a booking confirmation letter/coupon will be issued by ‘The Company’ & then be sent to the corresponding client through email. In addition, we suggest our clients to re-check their filled-up booking form for mistakes regarding their email id, address, name, phone number & trip name before sending it to us.
As mentioned above, 20% advance deposit is obligatory in order to make a booking denoting the specific preferred trip package. This means thatThe Companyis only going to notify the client about the confirmation of their booking after getting the requested deposit payment along with the filled-up booking form.
Likewise, in order to complete the remaining dealings a final payment should be made before arriving at their trip destination by the client who had previously made the booking.

Travel Insurance is a very important aspect when it comes to booking of our offered trip packages. Our customers are therefore recommended to bond themselves with a dependableyet comprehensive Travel Insurance for their trip which can make sure that if something were to happen then their Travel Insurance can help the client pay the bills/fees if required. Along with that, our clients need to make sure that their purchased Travel Insurance covers the particular nation or regionin which they have booked their trip while specially focusing on “High Altitude Trekking” if the client is traveling to high altitude places for trekking activities. Similarly, it must also cover unanticipatedand unwanted accidents, medical treatment fees and Emergency Evacuation by hiring Helicopter during the trip. Just so you know, hiring a Helicopter in Nepal is very costly. So, having a Travel Insurance can be of great use while traveling in Nepal.
Note:
If the client is unable to show the proof of their Travel Insurance when requested by The Company then you can bring the travel Insurance with you upon your arrival to cover the risks of your travel.
In accordance to our cancellation policy, our clients attain the right to cancel any of their booked trip packages. However, to do so, our clients are fully indebted to send us a legitimate, authentic cancellation request letter in writing while detailing the appropriate reasons of cancellation. Upon receiving and acknowledging the cancellation letter, we shall confirm their trip cancellation and provide refunds to the specific client according to their cancellation dates .
Refunds for the cancellation from the 20% advance payment by the following figures:
a) Cancellation before 60 days prior to arrival |
- tempts 15% of the total trip payment as the cancellation charge |
b) Cancellation before 30 days prior to arrival |
- tempts 30% of the total trip payment as the cancellation charge |
c) Cancellation before 15 days prior to arrival |
- tempts 50% of the total trip payment as the cancellation charge |
d) Cancellation before 7 days prior to arrival |
- tempts 75% of the total trip payment as the cancellation charge |
e) Cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival |
- tempts 100% of the total trip payment as the cancellation charge |
Note:
The client must understand that if they decide to cancel or leave their booked trip after the beginning date of their trip, then the prior payment made by the client will be held as non-refundable by The Company as per our Cancellation Policy. Furthermore, no alternative refunds or payments will be made for their individual accommodation, transport, meals or any other service costs.
However, if The Company were to cancel the booked trip package due to some events beyond their control. Then, The Company shall compensate for the abortive trip with a monetary refund which will be equivalent to the paid trip price.
Clients must remember that by abiding with these legal Terms and Conditions, The Companyhas the right and authority to change the trip itineraries if deemed viable or necessary for success of the trips and safety of the clients. Many unplanned circumstances may occur unanticipatedly which can be totally beyond our control. Hence in situations like bad weather, natural disasters (earthquake, landslides) and political instability, The Company can decide to change or modify their previous trip itineraryand follow a new route. While doing so, The Company shall always inform the news of about the changes to the respective clients immediately without much delay.
In the same manner, flight schedules are prone to delays and even cancellations which can force The Company to delay the trip till their next flight departure. So, if the flight gets cancelled while heading to the designated travel destination then The Company is obliged to pay for their accommodation fees which can occur during their extra stay in the city. However, if the flight were to be cancelled while retuning back to the city from their trip destination then, the company is not responsible to pay for their accommodation or any other extra expenses occurred during their delayed time period. Additionally, if the client is in a situation where they have missed their international flight back home then The Company will not be accountable for their flight cost.
(A) friendly Nepal Treks will not be liable for trips in unavoidable circumstances like Natural Disaster, restriction of their country, political instability, flight delay, Accident, Sickness, etc. All Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet trips under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of respective countries. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. So Travel insurance is most important..
(B) Liabilities of your Belongings
Friendly Nepal treks is not liable for any damage or loss of yours luggage or any property. They are at your own risk.
(C) Medication
Clients with certain health problems should bring their own medication as per your doctor advice.
The Company can at any time change, alter, modify or add new Terms and Conditions without notifying any of its clients. Hence, The Company recommends and clarify that the clients must keep themselves up-to-date with our Terms and Conditions.
