Dolpo trek is in the far west-north part of Nepal closer to Tibet and It open in 1989 for trekking propose for travelers. One of our representatives picks up you from Tribhuvan international airport and transfer to your respective hotel. The remaining day is for relaxing, look around the KTM city, or rest.
After breakfast, you will be pick up by your city tour guide and ready to look around the Syambhunath, Pasupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Durbar square including other famous places, some of which included in a world heritage site, culturally very rich and famous places. And Back to the hotel and check your trekking gears and relax and overnight in Hotel.
One of the company representative and your trekking guide picks you up from your hotel in written time and drive to Tribhuban domestic terminal airport and fly to Nepalgunj. It takes one hour to get Nepalgunj by flight. Nepalgunj is quite hot in the southern part of Nepal, it is a big business hub and very commercial business junctions. remaining day is to a look around the temple and lifestyles of the southern part of the peoples. Overnight in Nepalgunj in your respective hotel.
An early in the morning we fly to Juphal, It takes only 35 minutes of flight with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. When we landed in Juphal then we then look around the part of the lower Dolpo. And Introduce with porters and other staff who are going assist our group high up in Dolpo. Collect tents, foods, and donkeys and all necessary equipment for the Dolpo trek. Overnight in Juphal.
We start our day descending to the Bheri River through the rice and vegetable terrace and soon we cross the suspension bridge where the largest Shey Phoksundo national park start, we then take SPNP tickets here, cost NPR 1000 except tourists from SAARC countries. each for tourists. We then follow the Shuli Khola viewing the part of the Dhaulagiri range through the mix juniper, pine, and bamboo forest to Cekkpa village, An small village surrounded by cultivated land, contains with wheat and millet and vegetable. Overnight at Campsite.
Today we start our hike ascending up and descend down following the river through the beautiful forest saying hello to locals with donkeys. After walking four hours we then reach Raachi which is our lunch place. After a few hours hike, we get our camp Amchi after lunch. In Amchi hospital where locals get treatments by Doctors who are educated in traditional Tibetan medicine. Overnight in Chunuwar.
we start our hike today ascending to the top of the ridge, from where we easily can see the highest waterfall (300m) of Nepal and some views of the Phoksundo lake. we then slowly descend to the upper ridges of Phoksundo Khola through the birch trees and onwards to the Rigmo village which is influenced by the Bon Buddhist religions with 900 years old monastery and Mani wall and stupa. Then we walk slowly up to the Phoksundo Lake and overnight in camp.
Today is our exploring day, we start our hike onwards to Ringmo village where we observe one of the oldest monasteries named Tshowa and including other Buddhist monuments which are typically Tibetan influenced Bon monasteries. we then onwards down to Phoksundo lake which is the world's deepest lake with its own beauties. after looking around the Lake we come back to Camp. Overnight in Camp.
Today we are hiking with the views of the beautiful lake of the Phoksundo lake, first we ascent up to ridge pass through the narrow cliff which is a famous trail in Dolpo trek, when we reach the top of the ridge then we descend to the Phoksundo Khola through the a mix pine forest, by then we are in another side of the lake and again we start the final climb up to Sallagari. Overnight in Campsite surrounded by pine trees.
we start our hike ascending up along the Tukkchya river pass through the narrow cliff trail. Soon we cross the river and start final climb to the Nagdala high camp and camp over the big slap of rock. Overnight at Campsite.
Today we start hike ascending up to Kang La or Nagdala pass (5260m) for 3 hours through the rough and graveled trail. when we reach the top of the Kang La pass then we see Cristal mountain, similar to the Tibetan plateau, Shey shikar and amazing views of the part of the upper Dolpo,after observing the views from the top we then descend down for 3 hours through the rough trail to Shey Gompa. Overnight at the campsite.
First, we explore the Shey Gompa which is more than 800 years old, well described in "Snow leopard" by Peter Matthiessen.
First, we hike along the Shepu Khola for approx. 2 hours with the views of the dramatic landscapes of upper Dolpo, we then star climbing for two hours to reach the Shey La which is great viewpoint to observe the Upper Mustang, Tibet Kanjirowa mountain, Cristal mountain, and Kagmara mountain. After observing the view from the She La, We then descend down to Nangum Gompa, it takes two hours. Overnight at the campsite.
Today first we look around the Namgum Monastery which in top of the cliff, after looking around the Namgum Monastery then we start our hike to Saldang village following the Namga river and summer yaks herder grazing spots. Saldang is a very beautiful village surrounded by dry hill and contains with Barley and potatoes and other vegetables. Overnight at Campsite.
Today we pack our lunch and we start our hike up to Yangjir monastery, one of the very rich and oldest monasteries in this region. And back to Saldang ((3790m)
Today we follow the Rakyap Khola to the Saldang lek (4510m) and descend down to the Komas village which is a very Tibetan influenced local village. Overnight in Cam site.
We start our easy hike passing through the high desert high land which is covered by bushes where we might see wild blue sheep, snow leopard, along the trail today we pass some small village too. Overnight at the campsite.
We start our hike following the Panjhya Khola along with some village and monastery, it is a very beautiful valley. Overnight in Tinje village.
Leaving the camp, soon we cross the solun Khola and head upwards to Choila pass(5010m), Quite a rough and difficult part from Camp to Choila pass then the trail goes down to Tokyo. The Choila pass is one of the good viewpoints in upper Dolpo. Overnight in Campsite
Today our hike is very short, only takes one and a half hours. Very fortunate having enough time to look around the monasteries and Buddhist monuments which are influenced by Tibetan Buddhist, And you can participate in local program/cultural show by the local peoples to experience the local custom and lifestyle, the quite rich village contains with fertile land which is full of wheat, buckwheat, and potatoes.
We start our hike through the fairly level trail to confluence the Terap Khola and Meribane Khole and cross the Kang bridge, we then walk along the Terap Khola through the stunning view of the valley, can be admiring in this trek.
We pass through the many villages Sisaul, Gaamghar, and Toltol beautiful village with admiring the view of the upper Dolpo. Quite a long day. Overnight at the campsite
Today we walk along the Terap Khola, quite fast-moving because of the low altitude, vegetation change into the green, we then climb up to lamchaur and after Lahini we descend to Chhedhul Monastery .we again walk along the Terap Khola to Lashicap. Overnight at the campsite.
We start walk above the Bheri river though the green vegetation to Tarakot. When then walk onwards to Dunai passing the Lawan and Byasigad.Overnight in Hotel.
Enjoy the last day trek in Upper Dolpo trek. We walk following the Bheri river to Kalagawda and the trail go up slowly to Juphal. Overnight in Hotel.
Today early morning we fly to Juphal 35 minutes flight and by afternoon we fly to Kathmandu from Juphal one hours flight. Overnight in KTMin your respective hotel.

Hired trekking gears are must to keep safely if rented gears found damaged then you need to pay the same coast of the gear. You should keep certain amount of money to rent trekking gears. Normally, Trekking gears shop keep deposit $ 100 USD for a sleeping bag and a Puffy down jacket. Renting charge per day is approx. USD 1.50

Safe drinking water is most important to make sure you are in good shape in mountain. We suggest you to get normal drinking water from water tap or gest house and use water purify tablets and wait 30 minute to drink.
Filtering the water from the river or water tap is the also best way to get safe drinking water in trekking but you should come with proper filtering water bottle.
Bottled- water also available to drink but we discourage to use bottled-water to keep environment clean.

Best months for the trekking are the September to Mid-January, which is known as Autumn season and mainly most of the trekkers love to trek during the Autumn because of the beautiful weather and clear days and less chance to get heavy snow in high mountain, Autumn coordinate best weather than others season.
During the Autumn season in high mountain weather would be sunny with plus temperature and some snow refreshment over 3000m. charming mountains are shine with stunning glacier with lush forest lower down.
Second best months are the February to mid-June, which is known as spring season. During the Spring season trekkers have opportunities to glance the colourful Rhododendron flowers in the elevation of the below 3000m and others alpine flowers blooms in late spring season. Some exercises are important before the hitting the mountain, everyday running for 1 hour for few weeks, jugging, and Gym and stay active and proper food with high carb as well as jumping.
